We had the most incredible stay at a lodge up north in Zanzibar. The hosts, Colin and Lesley, became like family to us. Their hospitality exceeded all expectations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with breathtaking ocean views. Let's not forget about the food - Colin, who happens to be a professional fisher, prepared the most delicious meals using fresh catch from the sea. Lesley and Colin were always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. We are already planning to return with my husband.

Our family had a fantastic time staying near the ocean with a beautiful, quiet beach in front of us. the rooms were clean and had amazing views of the sea. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast with fresh juice, fruits, and a choice of eggs. We also loved the shuttle service that took us to different locations every day. the hosts were warm and helpful. They gave us valuable advice and even offered a local phone. We appreciated the calm atmosphere away from the main beach.
The Lodge could benefit from improving communication skills with guests to prevent unpleasant experiences, as mentioned in some reviews.

We had an amazing stay at Game Fish in Zanzibar. After a long safari on the mainland, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts, Colin and Les, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They made sure we weren't bothered by beach vendors, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The views of the Indian Ocean were breathtaking, and we spent our days simply staring out at the beauty. The food was delicious and plentiful, and Colin's stories about his bar in South Africa were fascinating. Truly a charming and welcoming place!
We do recommend this hotel.
